Site Redesign: JackandGiulios.com

November 5, 2013 San Diego, CA – Chef Giulio and his son Jack present Old World Italian dining in Old Town San Diego.  The site was was translated from the older Joomla CMS version (Content Management System) it was using and into the WordPress environment.  The redesign used reliable plugins to present the newly revamped menus, videos of Chef Giulio and the restaurant and a user friendly means of getting directions to the site.

With a stated goal of presenting the wonderful dishes offered by the restaurant as the center piece, the next most important item was to make it easy to make a reservation.  The site presents a phone number front and center and every page includes either a link to the reservation page or a sidbar form to make the Open Table reservation directly.

In addition, the site was built around a mobile-responsive template that not only presents tantalizing images of the food, but makes the phone number a “click and call” function right on the home page.
